The word "cancer" can instantly instil fear and desperation. In April 2000, Neil was diagnosed with cancer of the duodenum, pancreas and liver, and told he had months to live. The medical profession have rarely come across the tenacity with which Neil and Anne met this news, and which resulted in his last MRI scan showing no signs of cancer. This is their story: about cancer, effective treatment, being cured, and the unforeseen aftermath, and about love.
