Clever! This book does well with introducing problems that people may find in the workplace and offers one or two illustrations of how to deal with them. These illustrations are not long and drawn-out like most books, yet to the point and easy to remember.

This has got to be one of the most helpful books that I have read all year! As I read this book, I had my notebook and pen handy, ready to take notes on any helpful advice I found in this book. “Am I crazy because I have marked just about every page and line of this book?” I leave the book on my desk each day and when people come up to me and ask about it, I just pick it up and hand it to them. My office has been stricken with the virus of office politics and I am sure this book is the cure. What an amazingly powerful read!

I’m going to be brief, since this book was so brief, but to the point on many problems with people in Corporate America today… WOW! I applaud you M Watts! The only thing that I wish was covered in this book is the BS that women have to deal with in the workplace when it comes to office politics. If it did, I would have given this book at least another star or two!

I typically do not post what I think about books that I have read, but I think this book is certainly worthy. Although this book was a short read, each chapter was filled with very valuable information that I think anyone who works either in the corporate world or a privately-owned business. It addresses many of the issues that we face day-to-day in the office. I really liked the chapter on office bullies. I wish I had a book like this to teach me how to deal with bullies back when I was in school, but we were writing on cave walls back then… Very empowering read!

I have worked in Corp. America for about 27 years now and I can honestly say that I have seen almost every trick in the book when it comes to office politics. I just wish there was a book like this when I first started. This book is short and to the point and can be read in just one sitting, ok two sittings if you really pay attention. It’s filled with the kind of insights and advice that anyone who is trying to thrive and survive in today’s office environment. All the tips provided in this book can be put to use if you are thinking about starting a career almost anywhere or you have been at your current job as many years as I have. When I first saw the description of this book, I thought it was going to employ me to use devious tactics to get what I need. Instead, this book teaches you how to better identify the games that people play so that you can better arm yourself. It also teaches you tactful ways to deal with all sorts of Office Politics offenders, such as bullies, and makes...
