It is the year 2086. The only people known to be left are the 200 currently living on an uncharted island in the middle of the ocean, known as Salvezza. There are stories that haunt this island, and some stories that haunt the survivors. The world is in debris. After years of storms, rebellions, fatal diseases, and chaos, no one is left on the main land. They call it, the Novum. They solved it with the lottery, picking only enough people to fill up a few boats. Carrie is clouded with nightmares. Will is clouded with relief. When one is taken, the other must jump through hoops to get there. But when the problem at hand is larger than they thought, they are faced with adversity and a fallen friend.
