A useful follow-up to "Rice and Beans", Barclay's previous book. This tells how the hard won money is spent in Nicaragua. It's unusual to have such on-the-spot information about how charity money is spent. Now donors can see precisely the value of the donations they make, however small. For instance, the difference a few dollars can make to a child who needs surgery is amazing. A mere $30 is all that it took to provide for a girl needing kidney treatment. This is less than most of us spend on lunch out. This book should be an inspiration to larger charities, showing the way to closer relationships with donors.
