From Ice to Ashes

Revenge is a powerful force, often driving people down paths they can never retrace. Glace is a young woman on such a path. Orphaned at an early age by a rising warlord, Glace spends the rest of her life bent on revence. The years scar and harden her, making her dangerous and coldly driven - regardless the cost. The warlord responsible for her family's death, however remains unpunished, and with the help of Ianira - a dangerous sorceror - Glace sets out to remedy this. Ianira offers to make Glace a weapon. A living-weapon. She says that by capturing a phoenix and transforming it by magic, it can be made into an unquestioning, shape-shifting, human-like creature of awesome deadliness. With this weapon, Glace has a chance to finally avenge her fallen family. But things are not all as they seem, and Glace is about to find out that revenge has costs, and that lives are more than pawns in a game. Her life and ideals are about to be turned on their heads - possibly with horrific outcomes.
