Albert Levy, developing the architectural photography in the XIX century (1860-1890’s)

Architectural photography is getting everyday more appreciated because of its quality and its historical value as a sample of our civilization. Albert Levy is a French photographer that started his work in Europe and lately, in 1873, travelled to the United States. Here, Albert Levy focused in taking pictures of the best building beeing built in this country in cities like New York, Boston or Chicago. His photographic albums are nowadays in the best museums of the USA and its "Albert Levy's Architectural Photographic Series" is a key to understand American Architecture in the late XIX century. This book is a compilation of all his labour written in a way to understand his importance on those ages.
