This book is the story of my wonderful wife Maureen who passed away at the very young age of 51 after a very brave battle with cancer. It is written to deliver a message of hope and faith to all patients and caregivers faced with such an adversity as a long struggle with cancer.
All the proceeds of the book will be used to sponsor cancer research, especially for children affected with such a horrible disease. This book is available in a slightly different version in black and white under the title "Maureen ... The Ultimate Cancer Fighter."

"Maureen Cahay" THIS BOOK IS AN INCREDIBLE TRIBUTE OF THE COMPASSION, LOVE, DEDICATION AND REMARKABLE CARE ONE MAN HAD FOR HIS WIFE/SOULMATE DURING HER 16 YEAR BATTLE WITH CANCER. IT IS A WONDERFUL, INSPIRATIONAL READ FOR ANYONE DEALING WITH CANCER THEMSELVES, OR CARETAKING A LOVED ONE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER. THE AUTHOR TEACHES US TO NEVER GIVE UP, ALWAYS HOLD ON TO HOPE, AND FIGHT THE BATTLE LONG AND HARD. GOD BLESS MARC CAHAY FOR FINDING THE STRENGTH TO WRITE THIS BOOK WHILE DEALING WITH HIS OWN TREMENDOUS GRIEF, AND THINKING OF HOW HE COULD HELP OTHERS WHILE DOING SO!
"Inspiring!" This book is certainly a labor of love. It is a touching account of the struggles a couple must endure to fight a very rare type of cancer. It is a fast read and I would highly recommend it to those who have had their lives affected by a friend or family member's fight against any chronic illness. I admire Marc for writing Maureen's story. Thanks for sharing her with everyone. She was a special person that all will enjoy reading about.

You will read how the author sought the best physicians around the world for help with the treatment of his wife’s rare cancer. Use it as a guide for communicating with physicians - often a difficult task! See how a caregiver can provide physical and psychological comfort to a cancer patient. She is an unusual person who can read this book without laughing aloud at places and without shedding tears at places. D.M.
"Maureen Cahay" This is a story about a couples battle against cancer. It reflects the love they have for one another and Maureen's strength and grace throughout her illness. It will inspire others to continue to search for the treatment of their disease despite the odds given to them. Most of all it will give hope to those who are diagnosed with cancer, which is what Maureen would have wanted.

Filled with joy, sadness, faith and humor, it is the true story of a couple whose love for each other and faith in God inspire us to love and live life to the fullest.
