The Rink Rat Chronicles can be read over and over again and depending on your age and background the read is different for everybody. The cartoon characters are authentic hockey kids. I have met the real Rick the Stick and I can tell you there is a little bit of reality in this work of fiction....
The characters look fantastic! The story beautifully portrays diversity, friendship between boys and girls, and the love of the game. I love the page when ma Elaschuk servers dinner to her big, strong Russian guests.
