Join up with Trot, Cap'n Bill, Tandy, Captain Salt, and many other favorites as they have a sea-faring adventure in the Nonestic Ocean. Strange mer-folk, an underwater lighthouse, and a terrible whirlpool make this an exciting adventure, in the spirit of L. Frank Baum and Ruth Plumly Thompson. Special introduction by Baum's great-grandson, Robert A. Baum!

Excellent new Oz story, the writing style does not try to mimic previous Oz authors and is original. I liked the new characters and the villain was unique. It was genius to have Trot and Bill accompany Captain Salt and company on the Nonestic. My one complaint is that it wasn't longer. But I know the author did not want to get tedious or stretch the story past it's welcome, which I admire. One of the better new Oz authors I've read, comparable with Einhorn, and deserves some more recognition.
