The Teenage Immigrant

A 16-year-old Irish girl comes alone to America to find work. Her 2 sisters have already immigrated to other countries, her parents remain in Ireland. With no knowledge of the American way of life and unwilling to ask questions so as not to appear ignorant, she struggles to figure out what's what. When her sponsor decides that she is sending her back to Ireland, she feels that she has no choice but to skip town. She faces her new challenges with determination and a sense of humor.
