"The warmth within" It is very rarely that you come across tales that come from the heart. Maybe because it is easier to close them to the world, than to face the fear of opening-up. Once in a while however there comes a personal tribute to a life lived fully, wholeheartdely and in defiance of personal tribulations. A life lived to inspire and remember. I think that this is Josie's story. In times of desperation, hope runs thin and that's why this book is so important as a stepping stone across the void of daily troubles.

Ms. Moore's tale is charming and poignant, the descriptive content easily drawing the reader in to experience the daily life of a bygone era. As the story continues, the pathos and heartbreak of Josie's decline and Martha's determination to care for her is truly inspiring for those who face a similar struggle. The entire book is a lesson in the value of the now rare virtues of hard work and sacrifice, of the real blessing of family and friends, and that a life lived in God's love is what ultimately gives meaning to one's life and death. Congratulations to Ms. Moore on a beautiful first book.
