This short but wonderfully entertaining and informative book succeeds where many lengthier volumes fail. Its unique and easy to read illustrated style communicate the complexities found in autism simply and to good practical effect. Illustrating the essence of the social difficulties found in autism and the instinctive nature of these it helps the reader to instantly develop a feel for the autistic thinking and perspectives on the world. This is so important in developing an empathy and understanding critical to supporting autistic individuals successfully and in resolving problems. The book is almost certain to be helpful to adults with autism seeking or in work and essential reading for those involved in employing or supporting them Richard Mills Director of Research the National Autistic Society Research Director Research Autism
As someone with Aspergers I think that this brilliantly explains the minefield I have to travel through every time I have a conversation. I think that this is a very useful tool for explaining AS interactions quickly and clearly to work collegues, family or friends.
