Patchwork Pieces of my life is an honest portrayal of Marilyns' life and all that happened. Marilyn is my oldest and dearest friend. We played together as babies, went through Greece Central School and John Marshall high school together. The four girls mentioned in the book were always together and laughing and having fun. We walked with the other neighbor kids one mile down Elmgrove Road to Ridge Road (route 104) and rode the city bus to school. She writes the way she talks with great humor. She touches on her love life and how she met her husband. It talks about her jobs from the time she was 14 and how while working at a hamburger stand, she met a celebrity. One snowy Christmas eve after working at Green's Five and Dime in Rochester, she almost didn't get home. Her stories are fun and the one about her Gallstone surgery is a scream!
