Marjorie has written about pretty much everything in her inspirational and tender autobiography. The memories range from her childhood years during World War II; her struggle against and triumph over agoraphobia, anxiety and panic attacks; family life over the course of many decades, including 2 marriages and six children; to becoming a well-known distinguished Medium in Spiritualist Churches of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Despite such a varied and demanding life, Marjorie's perseverance and tenderness is evident throughout this absorbing memoir. (Part review by Manager of Waterstone's)
This compelling autobiography abounds with intimate details of familiar Hull locations, local organisations and members of her large extended family.
With complete openness and honesty, she takes us on her personal journey. I was impressed with the fortitude with which she overcame so many stressful periods in her life, yet always facing the future with excitement. (John Weller Hull Daily Mail)
