This book is a biography of Edward D Harris written by his brother Mark F Harris. Ted grew up in Delta, Utah, and graduated from Delta High School, then attended Brigham Young University for one one. In 1942 He was drafted into the US Navy and excelled in electronics school. He was assigned to serve as a radio technician on an LST vessel toward the end of World War II. Before reaching Japan, the was came to an end. Ted help set up communication facilities in Guam and the Philippines. Later he started a photography business in Delta, Utah and then operated the Rancher Motel and Cafe in Delta. He was a gemologist and chef. He was also the recipient of a community Area Giant award as a prominent citizen.
