Written by 16 year old author, Mark Hourihan. Kyra Molloy and Tyler Salero find themselves meeting at the airport when Kyra decides to sit next to her unrecognizable childhood friend as she waits to board her plane in first class. As it happens, Kyra and Tyler are both headed back to their hometown of Glacier View, Alaska to live with the Kasidy family. The Kasidy's are a quiet family, who were once close friends to both the Salero's and the Molloy's, but after they had seperated, they grew far apart, only to become the closest of friends once more. Alex's father, Eric Kasidy is the town doctor, and Alex a town EMT. Together, Alex and his father convince Kyra to join Alex on the EMT squad, which is comprised only of Alex and his sister, Crystal. Kyra, already having EMT trained, reluctantly acceptes and has her hands full very quickly.
