The author writes in a way that will paint pictures for you, touching places in your heart long forgotten.
Mark grew up in a little town called Inwood Indiana.
Making his way through life he never felt alone because he had a twin brother.
Never staying too long in any one place, he did however make the best of a bad situation.
Mark reflects on his past in this book but not overly.
The author Mark G Lyvers

A spiritual encounter through poetry,
I like your book. It was classy and made me laugh. I love the poem you did called "Pull Up your Pants" too funny. Kids that wear their pants half way down their butt should read it.
One of the best new poets I have found. His raw material and progression is perfect for our magazine. I read the whole book several times and still pick it up to get ideas from it. Well written and although it may appear to have some flaws at first glance, who's first book doesn't. We bought several copies of this book and look forward to the next one. Finding that the authors style of writing is in some ways still maturing and in others far ahead of anyone we have seen, we feel that this Author is one we will be keeping our eyes on. 5 Stars from us Mark! Keep writing!!!
The book progressively got better the poetry in the front of the book well it just wasn't my style I guess. I did find some that I liked and one of them made me cry. I know that only a fraction of people that read books write a review so I wanted to say that I would buy this book again if I lost it.
I wasn't going to leave a review but I liked this book a lot. It was very clever and it did not take along time to read it. I was in class and a friend of mine had it I asked to borrow it and she told me get your own so I did. I would recommend it to anyone who likes poems and writings. It is nice to see work from a local writer.
This book touched me in places I did not know I had. I remembered things in my life that I had forgotten. Mark reminded me to look deeper at life. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend. It was the best 10 bucks I spent in a long time!
