Learning to be Free: Organizing for Sociality in Learning Environments
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
In Learning to be Free, Organizing for Sociality in Learning
Environments I have made an attempt to illustrate how the
essence of being human affects our potential for learning.
Humans are essentially social beings, because they are
dependent on their sociality to survive as a species. As a result,
we organize our social relations according to certain preferences
and this has consequences for the way we make sense of situations and the social structures we find acceptable in our learning environments. However, this not always aligns with the learning architectures in which we operate.
This thesis provides an insight in the way we organize our
social relations and how that contributes to an improved ability
to provoke learning by aligning these preferences with the
learning architectures being afforded.
