"Re: Mark Sautter's book was great, for my chronic insomnia." And one other thing. Mr. Sautter's book is being used in a Brittany School (Which by the way is in France) as an English text. I guess you were a little off on your critique.

"Mark Sautter's book was great, for my chronic insomnia." This writer tells the reader about his honeymoon in France in eye-gouging, wrist-slashing detail. The title misled me into buying the book. Far from interesting, Mr. Sautter goes into horrific detail about his meals throughout his tour of the french countryside and cities as if anyone cares. Hemingway could have pulled this story off with charming success. Unfortunately, he is not around anymore, so Sautter tried, or should I say, failed. Sautter's arrogance in his constant belittling comments about everyone around him grows tiresome after about the fifth incident. Arrogant Americans like him and his wife leave no doubt why the French hate us. I can't tell if his hostility is real or fiction, not that it matters in the end, which doesn't come quick enough. Don't bother buying this book except to get a good nights sleep. Save money, buy Benadryl instead. If you're just into pain, go to the dentist instead of reading... More > this "satire." At least you'll get something good accomplished. Tammie< Less
