‘My House on the Fjord’ is a novel set, initially, on a simple wooden house at the end of a jetty in the middle of a fjord. The novel concerns a young man who suddenly finds himself on this fjord, populated by magical creatures. He has no idea how he got there and has little memory of his former life, but is enchanted by this incredible world that he finds himself in.
The story follows him as he falls in love with ‘The Lady’, Sarah, who to begin with professes her love for him and which he returns with gusto. However his love for the woman soon turns sour, as well as the experiences offered by the fjord. Encouraged by these experiences he embarks on a journey to ‘find himself’ and banish his negative emotions, which, as it turns out, have an adverse effect on the fjord.
