This work deals with possibility of using the GSM system as another (floating)warning elements of the population. It makes brief history of the development warning the population in the Czech Republic, the issue of cellular mobile networks GSM) and the possibilities of linking these systems - warning residents and GSM networks tool in ensuring the safety of the population increase.
