Funny, sad, charming and often shocking book. Full of action and over-the-top situations, it's actually a very real and moving exploration of human nature. Sharp and beautifully written, this book is unlikely to leave anyone unaffected.

"Banana Skin Tango" The Banana Skin Tango is a highly original book from a writer who would appear to be intelligent, urbane, sophisticated and worldly. The characters are so finely drawn that they jump right off the page at you and could be your best friends, even if you would not want to be associated with some of them. They are funny, sad, pompous, ridiculous, sexy and dangerous. There is one particular scene towards the end which shocked me greatly and had me gasping for air. I really didn't see it coming. I am not going to tell you about it. You'll have to buy the book and while you're at it, buy a copy for all of your friends. Elaine Gilboa Hollywood Press

"The Banana Skin Tango" Anyone who has survived the loony-bin hell hole of corporate life in the UK will recognise the British Energy Services Ltd equivalents of the grotesques from their own experiences. A really funny book that races along at a cracking pace and never flags for a moment.

"The Banana Skin Tango" The Banana Skin Tango is very very funny, and even though the plot is full of intrigue and pathos (and a fair amount of well-placed unbridled sex) the throwaway lines on most pages were the icing on the cake for me. When you read Banana Skin Tango please don’t let these lines be thrown away – they are precious. The Banana Skin Tango is one of those rare books that touches you and you think “I thought I was the only person who thought like this or felt like that” and yet you don’t start to wallow because you’re laughing so much and wanting to see what happens next. One of the best books I have read in a long time and, weeks later, I am still thinking about it.

"Banana Skin Tango" This book made me really laugh. Very funny, sharply written and clearly drawing deeply from his own experience of the chaos of large corporations thrust into change. To anyone who has ever been in that crazy world, this book strikes a familiar chord and a comforting one too when you find you were not alone in thinking the way you did. The plot is full of intrigue and not a little pathos and the throwaway lines are rich, amusing and priceless - well worth reading for these alone. The characters are well drawn, at times serious but always believable and often familiar. Want a good book to take on holiday ? Then put this on your MUST READ list !!!
