As a Director of an Early Learning Center for over 300 children, I can't wait to share this special story written by a special man. This book has so many lessons to be taught. Teaching children that everything and everyone has a purpose and even though we are all different, we are all important. Marty also has an amazing way of showing through this story, that life is what you make it. Smiling was not an option while reading this story, you couldn't help yourself. Marty, I can't wait to see what adventures Wally and Timmy are going to get into in the future....keep them coming.
This is a wonderful book! Our son just turned two and has his first wheelchair and loves to look and point at the pictures as I read it to him! It is very important to us as parents that he can have a book just for him to explain the "adventures" in life. As he gets older, I look forward to reading this with him even more. Thank you Marty for publishing such an endearing book!
I loved this book! What a great story for young and old alike. As a former teacher I can see children loving this story and being able to grasp the message. Looking forward to more books! Thank you Marty for pouring your heart into this story.
What an enduring message of significance, usefulness, and validation the author, Marty Hartman, has penned in this meaningful, delightful story! An easy read for young children, and a message for us older "children" too. Everyone needs to read it!
I just read the E-version of this book and loved it. The story is simple and sweet and you love Timmy and Wally instantly. I want to know what happens next...where does Timmy and Wally go.. The illustrations are beautifully done and so expressive. I love the face in Wally. This book is a must read for every child I know. Those in a wheelchair or otherwise. What a wonderful christmas gift this would make for all the children of all ages in your life.
