"From the World Fellowship For Schizophrenia " Schizophrenia: Medicine's Mystery, Society's Shame by Marvin Ross, a medical writer and family member of a person with this disorder. A good book - worth a read. See:http://www.world-schizophrenia.org/resources/booklist.html

"schizophrenia:medicine's mystery - society'shame" The description of the book says it well. It is also a welcome source of reliable information for those of us who sit on hospital or lhin family committees, or who attend family meetings with peers who either ignore schizophrenia, or want to appear so politically correct that they side with treatment deniers, the walking wounded or alternative treatment promoters. Fuller Torrey when he spoke in Toronto told us that sometimes we should not be afraid to be politically incorrect at times. Marvin Ross's latest book gives us the courage to do just that.
