Sarah Milbourn's Mother: An Experiment in Fiction I received this book from lulu this week. It's not unusual that I'll set aside all the other books I'm reading to start a new book, but it's less common that I'll actually finish it. This is a journey of a young girl lost. Lost in a world that only values her for the pleasure she can provide. From her birth her caregivers used and abused her for what she could earn. In the twisted sequence of events that is her life May finds herself and loses her self in helping other children trapped in her underworld. She bounces from one abuser to another when you think she's Safe she gets hit again and again. This is one of those marvelous books that open our eyes to the plight of these children. This book puts a name and face to the people we are abusing and being abused. This is a book at once so magnificent, it is difficult to comprehend and describe.
