This is splatterotica at its finest. Mary Goff drags you by your eyelids through a world of sexually-charged violence and trepidation. Definitely not for the scrupulous reader. Beautiful wisps of verse and masterful prose are filled with brutal imagery, like a blood-soaked angel food cake for your mind. Read it and try not to get turned on.

Dark, decadent, indulgent...and pure evil. Although it's only a handful of poems and short stories, the selections are so powerful the pages could well burn your fingers. I was addicted by the time I finished Consummate, the first story. I devoured the entire book in record time--then I read it again. As a matter of fact, I believe I have read the book in it's entirety about 8 times now. And I assure you, I will be reading it again (and again) as soon as possible.
