This book was reviewed in the magazine "Adirondac", November-December 2010, in which the reviewer said:"A wonderful section on recipes, treating breakfast (A fruit smoothies), lunch (the possibilities are endless and startling if you're bored with gorp), snacks, breads, and dinners ("banquets" might be a better name for this section) causes the mouht to water. Have you ever imagined Salmon ALfredo with Cabbage and Beet Slaw and Pumpkin Cream Pie for dessert around the campfire after a long day of trekking? It's in the book."
