"Writing comedy ain't easy..." And yet MJ Gallagher manages very well. When actors read a play, they search the text for timing cues which help them discern the rhythm and meter. So many playwrights give the actors no clues at all, leaving them to come up with the timing themselves, often to the detriment of the piece. Gallagher not only gives them plenty to work with, there is an underlying music to the dialogue that drives the story as well as being entertaining the ear.
"I love a good leprechaun." :) So much talent. I want to be invited to opening night- This author is very funny. Another great sitcom script. :) I can see it now. :)
"Interesting Script" This book is written in a play script format, a difficult style to write in, but the author has done a very good job on it. The characters are interesting, the dialogue is snappy and humorous, and the reader is instantly interested in what happens to them all. A great read, "to be sure".
