Readers beware... take extra care... the short scribblings in this morbid little book don't just apply to you if you are good, bad or even slightly mad. They should serve warning to you no matter who you are for, if fate wants you, fate will get you.
From the warped mind of Matt Shaw comes a book full of short stories and strange limericks. If you like Tim Burton and Roald Dahl - this book will be right up your street!

"Re: Brillantly Twisted" Thanks for review, can honestly say I am happy with that. Years ago, when I first wrote 'Menu' I was writing it to be part of a television series like 'Tales from the Crypt'! I certainly think it has the same black humour in the twisted sales of one upmanship etc etc.
"Brillantly Twisted" The first short story of the book quickly sets the tone of the book and it only gets darker from there. I was reminded of traveling down a dimly lit staircase into a dark and eerie basement while at the same time being reminded of that old show "Tales from the Crypt" and other such dark shows. I love this type of work, while some stories had my eyes widening and gasping in shock, others had me chuckling at the twisted irony. I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes dark tales or limericks, and I know many of us do but we'll never admit it to anyone else.
When Shaw says he has a warped mind (imagination?)he isn't exaggerating. These are deliciously macabre little tales. Some made me laugh, others made me say "yuk!" out loud. There should be a warning on this book - enter at your own risk! Like listening to a good joke, as you read each tale you can hardly wait for the punch line at the end. If you enjoy dark and twisted tales, this book will not disappoint you.
