"A Shining Gem!" It isn't often that a book stands out in today's ocean of spiritual / self-realisation offerings, but this highly original and gracefully presented story stands out for me. Anyone seeking to become more Self-aware will recognise themselves in the Journey of the Fool and, as such, will no doubt be moved by the tale's tragedy, poignancy and hopelessness which turns into glorious illumination. The message of love and hope for humanity that the story ultimately conveys is as urgent now as ever. The sumptuous multi-layered illustrations are dripping with mystical meaning and, together fused with witty, flowing prose, this reader came in for a challenging and inspiring experience ... and probably for years to come too! As another reviewer has said, the artwork alone is enough reason to buy this book. It is also very nicely printed on high quality paper with a hard casebinding and would grace any book shelf. I for one have found a special place for 'The Knowledge... More > Ode to a Fool'... well two in fact.... the shelf of course, and the other my heart - which makes it a 'hearty' recommendation from me!Jeff Kay - Ireland< Less

"Illustrations" This book is worth it for the delightful coloured drawings alone. Each is like a magical puzzle, as by turning the page around a whole host of hidden characters emerge. A real grown up fairy tale that most adults will find reflect life we have led rather than what we would have liked. A more sophisticated Peter Pan except this one grows up!
