the fact that her best friend is dead, her family’s home
is under attack, and she has weapons practice in the morning.

Messenger is about a destroyed future North America populated by a variety of different clans and peoples and their interactions with each other, all watched over by a mysterious group of angelic figures known as Messengers. The comic follows the exploits of several characters and shows how their individual paths intertwine and mingle. Messenger is drawn in a refreshingly individualistic style and brightly colored in a mixture of media, primarily water color. It's rare to see a comic with such expressive coloring work in real media, and Messenger delivers on that score. I hope to see more of this comic and find out what's in store for its characters on their long and perilous journey.
