The first in a series of children's books from The Adventures of Izzy & Kozmo, written by Melissa Littles, author, blogger and Founder of The Police Wife Life, LLC. The story of Izzy, a little boy with autism and how his Service Dog Kozmo helps make his life easier and safer. This book is an educational tool for children, educators, therapy specialists, parents and the general public which explains proper procedure and etiquette when encountering a Service Dog team. Many are unaware of the dos and don'ts when it comes to interacting with a service dog and handler. Likewise, many are unclear as to the difference between a Service Dog (SD), Therapy Dog or Emotional Support Animal (ESA). We hope this book will help others understand how Service Dogs help those they work for, and likewise will give others a greater understanding of the wonderful benefits service dogs provide to those with medically related disabilities.
