It doesn’t happen in an instant. That’s for sure. There is no single formula either. We can’t do it simply by praying it, going to church or trying real hard... so how? We must choose to grow. I've started reading this devotional book and using the reflection pages to journal my thoughts. Each day is filled with some kind of analogy or story that illuminates the scripture of the day. When I first start reading sometimes I find myself thinking "how is this going to tie into anything?" then the author makes the connection. It is like an aha moment and it leads to some good journaling.
