“Lots of Spirit, Lots of Drive! We’re the class of ‘65” Michael Duane Small certainly lets his spirit soar in this book. He starts off by addressing the class with “Reflections on Our State of the union Today, With a Short Summary of U.S. History”. In it he addresses the “Battle over a Nation’s Wealth. He wanted them to know “Knowledge is power”. He certainly pours his soul out to them in “You Say You Will Never Forget”. He lets them know how they could end poverty in “Ambition”. He also shares with them “To Be An American” means so much more, You must have a dream and a desire. In this book Michael Duane Small also shares many favorite quotes from various presidents and other historical writers. Michael Duane Small also leaves his class a solution to move forward and help save their country from financial disaster. A great book of knowledge and enlightenment. A very powerful book. I enjoyed the reading.

This is one of the most informative books that can be read today or in the distant future. It takes you into a part of American history that along with conspiracy theories cannot be denied. There is some political poetry that goes along with the letter that will really have you thinking. The author’s comments take you deeper into the whole book. If you like to know your politics and how America became the country she is today, I strongly recommend this book.
