The town drug dog owner was in the stands. Thats why he or she gave me Sassy, her AKC puppy. But I'm a writer. From daybreak to sunset, I was writing. Every time I tried to play with Sassy, she took off. The lab ran very, very hard. She was very, very hard to catch. I finally gave up trying to play with her. I kept her caged up. That's why my uncle gave her away. I got what I deserved. If Sassy were more of a priority, she would have had better behavior. I'm at fault. I prioritized writing. I am always writing & reading not only as a career but also because my psychologist said the best therapy for my healing brain. I scored 135 on my IQ test. One said it was special. When I was about five, he used to bend my arm behind my back. Head make me say I'm a monkey’s uncle. That was so fun for a five year old. I’d always say my uncle was a monkey. That’d make it worse. It was so fun. Then when I was 12 years old I moved to my uncle's. Then I moved to my Dad’s. We got into a fight because he was abusing my little brother, Justin. I kicked Dad in the back. He went down with a slipped disk. Justin and I ran to a train. Then we rode past Granny’s to the Quickstop and called Granny to come get us. It took little explanation to describe what had went on. Granny knew about Dad’s short temper and drug use.< Less
