This book is just flat out great, I have always enjoyed reading books about veterans and this one is not just interesting but fun to read. The author ties in the life of this one soldiers with the overall European Theater. I can't say this enough, I like this book.

This is a great read and an emotional and compelling story. It is well written but lacks footnotes. It is a setback but not enough to overcome the compelling and fascinating story that is detailed within the text.

Phenomenal book. I have experience in that historical field and this book is a welcome addition.

This book is tremendous! Well-written, good research, and a fun read. I hope Mr. Megelsh writes more books in the future.

An absolutely phenomenal work. In-depth, informative, and very personal story. This author should consider doing more work about individual lives of soldiers.
