With his knack for understanding the macro trends (Finding the next Starbucks), Michael Moe brings the same passion, keen observation, thorough analysis and insightful conclusions to the field of education. The book is rich with amazing amount of pictures and charts and packs many billion words of knowledge(with the math of "a picture is worth thousand words"). Instead of theoretical solutions, the book identifies and elaborates key technologies, trends and companies that are already part of the revolution. As Michael Moe says "We need, not evolution, but revolution in education". And this book leads the way.

In Michael Moe's book, he clearly defines how we can collect interest on our national investment in knowledge and education. Over the course of American Revolution, he addresses the unparalleled educational challenges facing our nation and elaborates on how we can take the first proactive steps towards finding a tangible solution to these problems. By doing away with the concepts of "for profit" and "not for profit", Michael Moe and his team introduce a new benchmark that education providers should be measured against: "Return on Education (ROE)". For individuals interested in education and the future of the education space, American Revolution 2.0 is a must read.
