"He’d spent the first sixty two of those years in anonymity, another flea on the vast pile of elephant shit that was the world. He’d made no real contribution to the world, to mankind, to history and would be forgotten soon enough, like countless billions before him. His grandchildren would remember him for a while, but after that he’d be gone, dead, buried and forgotten as if he had never existed. But maybe he didn't want to be forgotten. Maybe he wasn’t just one of billions of irrelevant fleas. Maybe he could still make his mark..........." They said that there would never be another 9/11 attack. They were wrong. Only this time the target is Mecca.

"High-Class hostage" On the surface, this is simply an exciting chase story involving a wickedly-devious terrorist and some pretty normal, painstaking investigators who inch ever nearer their prey. However, this is actually a thoughtful work that takes recent events, from the 9/11 attacks to the death of Saddam Hussein to the rise of the European Union, and flips them on their heads. There is an undercurrent of nihilism throughout the script and a brave attempt is made to get inside the mind and understand the motivation of the terrorist. This will prove uncomfortable reading for some and has the potential to outrage others.
