Dueling with Dualism takes up the commonplace understanding of man’s mind as having a distinct mode of existence outside of physical space and corporeal bodies: the infamous notion of “mind-body duality.” In this brisk and lucid work Spenard lays forth a historical account and cumulative critique against the intuitive conception of the mind, as separate from the brain, by bearing out fully the consequences and implications of this notion.
