On Christmas Eve, Maritza is disappointed. Rainy weather has flooded the roads preventing her
from selling her baskets at the market. As a result, she has no money to buy food. A stranger
comes to her house asking to spend the night. If she allows him to spend the night he promises to
make her a meal.
