I bought this as a birthday gift and early Christmas present for my husband. He looked for something like this for a long time but had no luck and was pretty surprised that I found it. When he opened this he looked at me like I preformed some kind of miracle. He uses it every day and just bought the matching Syriac New Testament so it was clearly a good pick.

Wow. Wasn't really expecting something this top shelf from These guys really put alot of effort into this text. First impressions: the volume lays flat, is a comprehensive concordance with every NT reference cited, includes roots for every syriac term, and includes a morphology breadown for every word, (so it would be better described as an enhanced concordance)! I was most surprized at the print quality. This has to be the cleanest, clearest print of any Syriac reference work I have seen to date. Wish the reprinters could take a lesson from this work. Well done.

Just got mine today and it is beautifully done! So far this is proving to be an exceptional syriac concordance. I've been waiting for years and fumbling with piecemeal online syriac/aramaic language tools, (but unfortunately I can't take my online tools with me). This is the first concerted effort to produce a high quality syriac concordance that isn't $1600 dollars weighing 60 lbs. One thing I like about this text is the parsing information. I've consulted the Kiraz concordance in the Seminary here which includes the OT but the information in this 700+ pg volume is informationally more complete for the NT and much easier to navigate. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Really exceptional reference work. As far as I can find, this is the only one of its kind in print. The NT citations are comprehensive and it has the added advantage of having parsing and declensions right at your fingertips unlike any other Concordance I've owned. The authors were able to put an enormous amount of information in the text without cluttering each page, (like Payne Smith). The text is easily read with every entry in crisp digital quality. One complaint however...I like the page numbering to show at the top like BDB not bottom.
