First, I understand that this is the first novel from this author. As such, it is surprisingly good, well written, and enjoyable. The protagonist is a famous author who has led a life of solitude that has well suited her. Suddenly, her world is flipped when she discovers that her fans—one in particular—are leading far more interesting, and it seems more fulfilling, lives. Setting out to meet her main fan of interest, she becomes an obsessed person willing to lie and cheat to meet this fan. I won't tell you more, other than this is an intriguing novel and one that—as a fellow author—I can recommend.
