This book reads as a fictional representation of one person’s journey to acceptance of faith in Christianity; it shows what a journey into belief could actually look like. As such it can be seen to be a bit like a view through a window. True understanding of this faith is sorely lacking in today's society. To many, the presentation of this faith seems threatening or demeaning. People wishing to learn about it therefore have to try to avoid the feeling that all expressions of Christianity are confronting. Plenty are for sure. But not all. This book tries to be the latter form of presentation. As such it avoids stereotyping. It is not pushy. As a result of reading this book my understandings, as a non-believer, of Christianity increased dramatically. I recommend it for the same reason the reviewer below wrote: for anyone really interested in an understanding of what belief in this faith actually means. Such understanding is basically totally absent today.

A spiritual journey through deep personal struggles to a place of faith, in the midst of significant and important friendships with atheism and agnosticism. This book is written for anyone who wants to explore how a person might come to a place of Christian spirituality: it is written out of respect for agnosticism and atheism, to demonstrate how Christian faith actually works, and to allow for the co-existence of all.
