Mick created a very colourful character in this novel, and it is very dark with the humor. I will give you an example here and this is not the ending, she offers a guy a mint then when he takes it he gets a nice nutshot. It is a very fun novel to read and it does zip along, I read this in the course of my trip to Richmond, Virginia. I picked the book up as thank you for writing the introduction in my anthology More From A Library Of Unknown Horrors. Is this book worth it? Yes get it if you like a good historical dark fiction novel -- this one is a historical fiction novel, and this is where Mick has his strength. Though I wish he formatted it differently by making the paragraphs single spaced, it would make it an even faster read if he did that.
