The Ashbourne Saga

The Ashbourne Saga is a series of fourteen teleplays about the Shakespeare Authorship Question, using the Ashbourne Portrait of William Shakespeare as “the apple of discord.” In the course of this work, the argument is advanced that the true author of the works of William Shakespeare was Edward de Vere, the Seventeenth Earl of Oxford, an illustrious poet and patron of the arts who flourished during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
