A libertarian socialist explores what his baby-boomer generation of activists has learned and how this may be re-mixed, in times that have changed so much and changed so little. The book is written in three ‘voices’ represented in its subtitle. *Class geography* is a voice for the profound capacity of ordinary working people, to know, to make and to self-manage. *Melancholy territory* is a voice for the profound diversity of persons. And *conviviality* represents the commitment to liberation, enacted in forms of facilitative practice that are one of the great political discoveries of the Baby-boomer generation, and in a dhamma path through the wild worldly landscape of human minds that have a long way to go, evolution-wise. The book is companion to an online cross-generation dialogue: the College of Conviviality. The book is work in progress (as are we ourselves!). The present version comprises prologue and three introductory chapters.
