I don't understand some of the older reviews, particularly if the writers are "power users". The 24.2 MB file downloads fairly quickly over ADSL and has no security, so you can print it. This is a book full of short tips about almost every part of Windows 7, so I won't list them, but they include topics that would help you to use and maintain your computer better. The Appendices are equally useful. There is a list of handy third-party utilities. Did you know you could create a virtual hard disk? Not XP Mode, but a bootable drive with a separate copy of Win 7? The book has something for everyone - it solved a minor annoyance for me - I missed the Print icon at the top of the ribbon in Office 2010. Although this is a Win 7 book, there is a small Office section at the end. I simply needed to click a drop-down in the Quick Access toolbar and tick the printer icon - bingo! Now I can print without needing to go to the File tab.

It looks like an interesting book. However, I tried to print out several pages and was disappointed when they did not print.

I might have liked this book a lot, but was never able to download it. So much for the inexpensive price. Nancy Salisbury

"The Windows 7 Power Users Guide is just what you should be reading in order to get the most out of Windows 7" by Digitizor.com - October 2nd 2009 Coming to the language and illustrations, this is somewhere the book again stands unbeatable. The book has been written in such lucid English that even a school going child will easily make his way through this book to become a Windows 7 power user. The book comes from the author of the bestselling “Windows Vista Power Users Guide” who has done IT support for years and actually knows where users face the problems and how to deal with them.
