"Fite!" This is a beautiful, exciting beginning to what I hope is a continueing series. Mike Luce works in a slightly cubist, high impact style which brings the bright athromorphic tale of a boxer who, after being knocked out in a fight, wakes up to find himself in the middle of a forest. There's no dialouge and the story moves at a frenzie pace, making this new world we're brought to seem mystical, surpriseing and often a little bizzare. Most importantly, it's a terribily fun read (although it's debateable if you can call something a read when there's no words- a look, maybe?) and the beautiful art is ultimately the spotlight here.
