Layers: A Collection of Psalms and Scriptures

What is Layers? The concept of layers emerges from the way that many of us read the Bible: we mark our favorite passages and return to them when we have specific needs or longings. This action of linking together Bible passages with similar messages is what I have called layers. The layers used in this book comprise inspirational quotes from scriptures to provide comfort and nourishment to those searching for the Truth and to those who already know the Good News. They allow the reader to have quick access to the "right" psalm, bible story, scripture, and parable. The selected arrangement allows key verses and passages to be available in times of need, when we want to praise or give thanks to the Lord. These passages also apply to when we are under attack by our enemies, and when our dear ones are ill, as well as being available when we just need to listen to the voices of the great prophets or thirst for Jesus' teachings.
