Life in the Cosmic Vacuum...where 2 people grow up and fall in love The book includes various exchanges, rants, explorations and personal poems collected from journals kept by Japhy and Farrah from 1990-2000 as they worked, traveled, rebelled and eventually were dragged kicking and screaming into being adults. Japhy and Farrah affectionately refer to these years as the "cosmic vacuum". These being the years between when you are told you are learning the skills needed to live a happy life (as a child and adolescent) and when you actually (and painfully) learn these skills on your own.
